About McLean
An Oakland-based residential builder with an appreciation for thoughtful design and well-made spaces.
Meet David McLean.
A lifelong tradesman and flamenco guitarist, David McLean grew up in the rural Sierra foothills where daily life made DIYers out of most everybody, whether for better or worse. After college and several years living in Spain, he moved to the Bay Area in 2004, where he was drawn to the craft of building and woodworking. He enjoys the collaborative process, the challenge of problem-solving, and the satisfaction of creating beautiful, thoughtfully made spaces.
